MarketplaceHQ is a brand of MIR Advisors LLC ("we," "us"). Insurance guidance is provided by Paola Del Carmen Noriega, a licensed Florida insurance agent. This policy explains what information we collect on themarketplacehq.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, phone number, ZIP code, confirmed county and state, whether you are seeking new coverage or reviewing an existing plan, renewal-notice status, an optional current insurer, your contact consent, and anything you choose to tell us on a call or by text.
- Information collected automatically: the page on which you submit a request, the referring website, and advertising attribution parameters such as UTM tags and click IDs included in your visit. Our hosting provider processes technical request data, including IP addresses, for operation and security. Our form uses these details to help route and understand your request.
How we use it
- To answer your request, compare health plans available in your area, and help you apply and enroll.
- To contact you by phone, email, or (only if you opt in) text message about your request.
- To keep records required by law and by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), including documentation of your consent before we help with a Marketplace application.
- To measure and improve our website and advertising.
How we share it
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not sell or rent leads. We share information only:
- With the insurance company, HealthCare.gov, or state Marketplace you choose, to submit your application;
- With service providers that help us operate (for example our CRM and phone/text platform, website hosting, and analytics), who may use it only to provide services to us;
- When required by law, regulation, or a valid legal request.
Text messaging: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with or sold to any third party. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service or our messaging provider, is permitted. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Advertising and cookies
We use an essential first-party cookie (mhq_consent_v3) to remember your privacy choice for up to 180 days. Only after you allow optional measurement, we load Google Analytics, which also reports completed requests to Google Ads, and the Microsoft Advertising (Bing) UET tag. Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising measurement tags are used only after consent, to count visits, phone-link clicks and completed requests and to see which ads, campaigns and keywords led to them. These tags use cookies and browser identifiers, the page address including ad click identifiers and campaign tags (such as gclid, msclkid and utm values), and technical request data. We never send your name, phone number, ZIP code, county, coverage answers or SMS consent to Google or Microsoft; the completed-request event contains no contact or coverage details. We do not use Google signals, ad personalization or remarketing, customer matching or Meta tracking. Analytics cookies expire after up to 60 days without renewal; user and event retention are set to 2 months. We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. You can reject optional measurement or change your choice using Cookie settings; withdrawing clears our first-party measurement cookies and reloads the page to stop the tags. Your request for help and optional SMS consent are separate from measurement permission. Attribution values saved with a submitted request stay within our internal service workflow. How long we keep it
We keep records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal requirements. Marketplace consent records and related documentation are kept for at least 10 years, as CMS requires.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text to stop text messages. Reply HELP for help.
- Ask us to stop calling or emailing you, or to access, correct, or delete your information, by contacting us below. Some records must be kept by law.
Children
This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 except as part of a parent's or guardian's household coverage request.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
